Join Literacy Connects for 60 Days and 60 Ways to build community literacy!!

This summer, get fired up about literacy!

As June and July turn the heat up, Literacy Connects is using the next 60 days to connect you with incredible opportunities for learning and exploration right here in the Old Pueblo.

Follow along for a variety of fun and easy ways that YOU (as an individual, family or organization) can help promote literacy and self-expression. You’ll also find plenty of local resources and activities related to education and the arts, many of them completely FREE! Click here to see what’s been featured so far!!

And we won’t just be talking about reading and writing. At Literacy Connects, we believe that a diverse range of literacy skills is necessary to be able to understand, create, and communicate information and ideas in today’s world. Our daily posts on Facebook, Twitter (#60Days60Ways) and LiteracyConnects.org will feature opportunities to build health literacy, creative self-expression, financial literacy, and even film literacy – this summer and throughout the year.

If you have an activity or event that that you’d like featured as part of our “60 Days 60 Ways” campaign, please email Tamara McKinney, Reading Seed’s Program & Communications Manager, or call 520-798-0700. We hope to feature as many local, low-cost or free resources as possible.
