Career Connections Program

Career Connections offers career planning and job-search services to Literacy Connects adult learners.

Through our Career Connections program, staff and volunteers support adult students to take their next steps toward work in their desired field. Program services are available in English and Spanish and include:

  • Special classes and workshops to learn about career opportunities and job search culture in the U.S.
  • Individual appointments with Career Connections staff and volunteers for guidance and support
  • Career and Digital Skills Lab to practice digital skills and receive assistance with job search activities
  • Student internships and volunteering to gain work-related experience and job references
  • Networking and Informational Interviewing to connect with people from relevant fields and industries

Services vary throughout the year and may be available online and/or in-person.
