Reading Seed Families

Reading Seed Families is a free five week online workshop series designed for parents and caregivers of children grades K-5 in Pima County. Come explore reading and writing strategies that can be used to create joyful literacy experiences at home that will leave you and your child feeling empowered and excited!

This free five week program offers you:

Weekly 90 minute workshops that cover a variety of topics including:

  • Wordless Books
  • Strategies that enrich read alouds and strengthen comprehension
  • Expanding reading with authentic writing activities

Opportunities to learn with other parents and caregivers, as well as Literacy Connects staff, in a supportive and collaborative online space

Free books and writing resources for your family
