Learn More About Our Children's Programs

Reach Out and Read

Reach Out and Read is a national evidence-based program that promotes early literacy and school readiness in pediatric exam rooms by giving new, developmentally, and culturally appropriate books to children and advice to parents about the importance of reading aloud.

Reading Seed

Reading Seed partners with Title I schools to support their students in developing healthy relationships with books and reading. We select and train volunteers to provide one-to-one reading coaching for students in kindergarten – 2nd grade and provides free books to students based on their individual interests to encourage independent reading.

Stories that Soar!

Stories that Soar! programs (STS!) empowers K-12 students by giving voice to their original words and creative ideas through a variety of literacy and arts programs.
