We had our run-through of the show tonight, and it finally hit me that, holy cow, we have this, then one more night, then we’re performing for Soleng Tom! Everything feels like it was such a blur up to this point, haha. I’m used to having at least a month to rehearse and refine a show, so it’s definitely a major change of pace for me. But I have to say, I really like it. I’ve never been a part of a process that was so unique and demanding and fast-paced, but at the same time, so much fun. Even while I’m rushing around trying to get ready for the next piece, I’m doing it with a smile on my face. Or at least, a smile in my heart, since my face likes to do its own thing most of the time.

I think one thing I particularly love about STS! is that, no matter how many times we perform any particular piece, it feels like a brand new adventure every time. There’s such a large variety, and putting so many different stories together one after the other, it feels like going on one big journey, both on- and offstage. In the end, I honestly find myself having a blast. Now I just hope that our audiences have just as good a time going on this journey with us.
