ADULT BASIC LITERACY
Need help reading?
The basic literacy program is for adults who want to learn basic reading, writing, math & computer skills.
Adults may be a fit for the basic literacy program if they have difficulty reading their own mail/email, text messages, notes at work, signs in public, and other common reading tasks. The basic literacy program can also help adults who want to study for the GED but need more reading skills first.
Requirements:
All literacy students are matched 1:1 with a volunteer tutor to work on their specific goals. Tutor pairs meet at Literacy Connects, a public library, or on Zoom. Tutor pairs decide their schedule for meeting.
Small classes for computer skills, math, and writing may be available.
Please call to sign up (520) 882-8006.
