Mary

Mary Rodenboh has joined the Resource Team as the Development Coordinator. Mary earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Lake Erie College and began her career in the non-profit world of community theater. When her professional life took a detour, she remained active as a volunteer in a local non-profit that raised money to fund research in children’s cancer. After Mary relocated to Tucson 25 years ago, she began working in healthcare quality management in a large multi-specialty group. She went on to spend almost 15 years as practice manager of a free-standing urgent care where she was responsible for all administrative functions of the practice. Mary enjoyed years of supporting a practice that served a large AHCCCS population, knowing that the services provided made a difference in patients’ lives. For some years, the practice was also involved with a group of volunteers working to increase access to healthcare for Tucson’s refugee population. Mary continues to serve on the Board of Arizona Medical Group Management Association as co-chair of the education committee. She is wildly happy to join Literacy Connects and to have an opportunity again to support work that is making a profoundly positive difference in lives.
