Reading Seed Game Board

We think this year’s Reading Seed Game Board is better than ever and we hope that each Reading Seed student has the opportunity to earn some of the great prizes and rewards provided by our generous game board sponsors!! The game is very simple to use; simply track your students’ reading time, both during coaching and at home, filling in a paw print for every 15 minutes they spend reading. They will earn a prize for every 4 hours they complete!

The deadline for the 2011-2012 game is March 23^rd, 2012!! Coaches must call or email Reading Seed with the name, school, grade and teacher name of each student who completed the game NO LATER THAN March 23^th.

A reminder will be sent in early March to those coaches who are on our email list, but we are unable to mail reminders to those who don’t have email or choose not to receive Reading Seed emails.

Medallions and final prizes can be picked up by coaches at the Reading Seed Office the week of April 2nd or will be sent out via inter-office mail to each school’s site coordinator during the week of April 9th.

Each year, a few coaches wonder why final prizes can’t be given to all students who participate in the game. After serious consideration, our decision is to award final prizes only for students who complete the game. To do otherwise, lessens the achievement of those students who complete the game. If you have students who are on track to finish the game by the end of the school year, you may submit those names for final prizes and give the prizes when the student finishes the game.
