Need books? We can help!
We know that access to high quality books is critical for students learning to read, and we are working hard to support the literary needs of students throughout Pima County. In addition to our one-on-one coaching, Reading Seed offers a variety of resources specifically for educators and literacy tutors in the community.
The Literacy Connects Library has grown to include more than 21,000 books for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. Books are available for check out to Reading Seed Coaches and other literacy providers, as well as partner teachers – and there are NO late fees!
Books can be searched by level, grade, subject and more in our online database, and we even deliver books to schools through district interoffice mail. The Lending Library is separated into 5 main sections – making it easier than ever to find books that are “just right” for your students!

Free Book Area
Reading Seed also has a collection of gently used free books available for our coaches. Coaches give each student a new book every coaching session from the Free Book Area to help encourage independent reading.
By the end of the school year, your student will have a library they can feel proud to share with others.
