Join Make Way for Books for an evening of literacy related activities at the Quincie Douglas Branch Library. Books and activities related to the “Promoting Peace through Picture Books Project” will be featured.
During the course of the school year, Make Way For Books has implemented the Peace Project at five preschools in the South Park Neighborhood. The literacy event on May 2nd will serve as the culminating event for this project.
Please help us in informing the South Park community of this event. We are especially encouraging families with young children to attend, but all are welcome. There will be story performances, crafts, an appearance by Curious George, food, and a book and pencil for each child.
